Windows Media Stream Recorder lets you record audio and video streams from the Internet directly to a CD or your hard drive.

Windows Media Stream Recorder has various recording modes. In Browse mode you can record the videos you see on the web. The program detects the start, end and the name of the different methods, so you can, for example, record various videos without needing to leave the process.

In URL mode, you can download multimedia files from the web. You can even use Windows Media Player to play and record simultaneously. Windows Media Stream Recorder supports HTTP and TCP stream protocols.
